The society has two boats, both presented below. Additionally, our members, are in contact with other sailing societies, many opportunities to participate in other events usually arise, involving sailing everything between dinghys and ships!
Blues – a newcomer!
Blues, a Nordic Family Boat (NF), was bought by ChSS in 2025. This boat has a length of 9 meters, making it more seaworthy and comfortable than smaller boats. The slim lines and tall sail plan on the other hand still make it a fast and popular regatta boat. Equipped with a self-tacking jib, Blues is extremely easy to manage on a small crew, but with a decent galley and 5 berths the boat still fits a larger crew well for society excursions.
Vitesse – a ChSS veteran!
Vitesse, an Albin Express, has been in the society since the beginning of the ’80s. This boat type is slightly below 8 meters long and quite easy as well as pleasant to sail, which makes it one of the most popular and common boat types in Swedish regattas. The Express also has a spacious cabin for its size and can accommodate up to 4 persons – perfect for over-night stays and longer sailing trips!
